  1. To the Reagan comment of the day ; most everyone we know today were planned by their parents, not unintended ( therefore not aborted. ) I believe that abortion is for those who weren’t careful and had an accident.

    • Look at it this way: is it the baby’s fault that its parents “weren’t careful” and “had an accident”? No! So the baby should not be killed – it never did anything wrong. Unborn babies are humans like the rest of us, not a clump of nonviable tissue mass that is worth nothing. Babies deserve to live, and they should not be killed because the parents ‘were not careful’.

      • True, but at what point do the cells in an impregnated mother’s uterus actually become a “baby”? And what if the mother’s life would be in danger if she gave birth to a baby? But still, good point.

  2. You know, I’ve been thinking about this quote, and want to take back my comment. People who actually think abortion is a good thing might be baby killers. But people who don’t want to make it illegal in all cases aren’t evil at all, or even slightly in the wrong. If a woman is going to die if she goes into labor, doesn’t she have the right to abort? If a woman is raped, and gets pregnant, which she had no choice over, doesn’t she have the right to have an abortion? The fact is, most women who have abortions aren’t too lazy to take care of a child of something; it is in the name of their well-being and maybe the child’s well-being.
