Firefighters Respond to Massive Virginia Wildfires

Firefighters are currently fighting forest fires that have burned more than 20,000 acres in Virginia.

The biggest fire is in Alleghany County, and according to the U.S. Forest Service, more than 7,600 acres of land have been burned by that fire. There is another fire is in Page County, which has burned 4,500 acres and is more than 6 miles long. Other fires are also burning in Shenandoah and Craig counties. More than 360 firefighters from 23 states are helping to put out these fires.
