Tornadoes in Dallas, TX

Three tornadoes touched down in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, March 3 and caused great damage. The National Weather service called these tornadoes “large and extremely dangerous.” As they moved northeast they started another tornado. The only damage done by the third tornado was roof damage.

The storms are still moving through the area and flights in and out of the city have been cancelled. The travelers have been safely relocated to shelters. Airports are not the only establishments being damaged, truck fields are also vulnerable. One tornado hit a truck plaza and set trucks flying 50 to 100 feet in the air, tearing them to shreds.

The mayor of Dallas declared a state of emergency. As of now, no deaths have been reported.
