Hello, I’m Allen with another Game News of the Week. This week’s topic is related to a comment posted on the last Game News of the Week. There were 2 comments that were posted, exactly the same, about getting MW3 for “FREE”.
There have been online auctions trying to sell the game before the release date, and Microsoft XBOX Live’s director Stephen Toulouse has already announced that XBOX Live players who play early may have something done to their accounts. Earlier that day he said that if you own a legit copy of the game, have fun. It’s a great game. The Infinity Ward representative said that it has no plans to ban fans, but try to wait until the formal release date. This is not the first time Activision has had release plans for the popular shooter series. When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 debuted two years ago, retailers were as eager to sell the game as gamers were to play it. The end result was specialty chain Game Stop “jumping the gun” on the shooters formal release date in select markets, which angered the publisher.
